The suits room with one bedroom and one kitchen/living room is awesome! The full size kitchen seems newly remodeled, and offers lots of kitchenware. The room is clean and very spacious. The location is great with reasonable driving distance to both Heavenly and Kirkwood ski resorts.
Our stay was good. We stayed here when visiting Lake Tahoe which was a little less than an hour drive. The room was spacious and clean! The WiFi did struggle sometimes which sucked because phone service was slow or not available. Fyi check in is at the Carson Valley Casino which is connected to the RV parking and Casino, which is next door. A few of the restaurants were open late on weekdays which is a plus, and many fast food options nearby! Overall we enjoyed our stay.
We had an excellent stay at the Carson Velley Motor Lodge. We were visiting relatives and chose this centrally located hotel. The rooms were very clean and were kept clean and tidy for us while we stayed for 10 days. We were very happy that we had full privileges at the Casino and everyone in both locations were kind and very helpful. We ate several times at Katies, and the food was fabulous. Good waiters and waitresses. Food fresh and delicious! This was our first trip to Nevada, and we will definitely return and stay at Carson Valley Motor Lodge!
This is not a BS or bought review. I chose this location due to other reviews I saw for it on google. I needed a place to stay late on a Sunday after working the weekend on a job. I was given an excellent price on a room in the motor lodge. Had dinner at Kate's diner. It was everything I expected it to be. Staff was very friendly help me navigate the casino, when I was half asleep. Motor Lodge was clean and quiet. Nice quality linens on the beds and even Keurig coffee machines. So no weird funky coffee pot. Not a great night's sleep. And they even let me check out an hour late. Definitely I'm going back there. Thanks to the other people that reviewed it on google, it got me to go there. Had an excellent experience.
The rooms were nice and clean, the beds were really comfortable. A microwave and bigger TV would be nice. The indoor pool and several restaurants are located only a short drive away at the Carson Valley Inn. The pool was fairly cloudy though and it would be nice for the area to be more convenient to people staying at the motor lodge as there wasn't really any place to change into swim coots. Also, as for the bathrooms, there weren’t any provided conditioner bottles, the coffee cups weren’t wrapped, and our bathroom door lock was broken. However, the rooms at the lodge still have great lighting, heating, and many electrical outlets. Overall, it was a great stay.
Rooms were clean, has a microwave & mini fridge in the standard rooms the beds seemed smaller than a queen but other than that it was nice. The staff were super nice and accommodating.
The Carson Valley Motor Lodge is part of the Casino Resort and RV Park. You are a sort Nice walk to all. There is a Convenient Store with Gas right there as well with Good Prices. The store is VERY CLEAN, WELL STOCKED with about anything you would need. They have really good coffee there. The Employees are super nice. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed 5 nights as we were there for a Wedding. Highly Recommended ;) The Entire area was VERY CLEAN and WELL MAINTAINED...All the staff at the Motor Lodge and Casino Resort were VERY NICE and HELPFULL.
Room had a nice closet. Bed was firm comfortable. I registered in at the hotel registration, the clerk helpful and told me about the motor lodge.
